Mitt Romney doesn’t think the wealthy should pay higher taxes. Apparently, he’s leading by example.
While the candidate still refuses to release his tax returns, he did reveal today that he pays about 15 percent in taxes, far below most taxpayers. “It’s probably closer to the 15 percent rate than anything,” he said at a press conference. “My income comes overwhelmingly from some investments made in the past, rather than ordinary income or earned annual income.” Read More
