Did Somebody Really Try to Make Money off the Trayvon Martin Controversy?

In one of the finest hours in capitalism’s capacity for human degradation, an anonymous entrepreneur has admitted to selling Trayvon Martin gun range targets.

Formerly available on a firearms auction website, the target shows white cross-hairs superimposed on black hoody with skittles and sweet tea (two items Martin bought before being shot and killed by George Zimmerman) held in the right arm. The targets, sold in packs of ten for $8, sold out in two days, but after a media backlash the seller removed them from the website.
